Need my itunes back...?

Depending on how new your iPod is, there is a way to set it not to sync at all, and I'm fairly sure that's your best bet until you find a better solution. However, if you have a wall charger, I suggest charging that way. If you mean that you can't get the iTunes program on your computer, simply download it from the apple website.
