Am using dell inspiron 1150. when i try to download the driver for my computer from the home site an er?

I just recently reinstalled windows using the dell cd that came with computer and now I'm unable to change my settings in the display properties tab from 16 bit to 32 bit. 32 bit isn't an option now. So i wanted to updated my drivers for my laptop, but I get an error message when I try and download them from dell's site. Please help me.
