"Error Loading Operating System_" Using OS disc on new hard drive for laptop?

Sound like you need a "do over". When you get to the installation part where you need to install windows then you need to hit "D" to delete the partition. Then Hit "C" to create a partition in the unformatted space. Then format the the partition NTFS. At this point you can reinstall the system. Make sure you are plugged in this time. Good luck.
