Can the Hauppauge HD PVR record my xbox 360 from the pc monitor?

Im currently using a PC monitor to play my 360 but now i wanna know if i can use the Hauppauge hd pvr to record my game play from the Xbox using ONLY the computer monitor...i know its possible for the TV but will it work for the PC monitor/desktop monitor
