For guitar players only?

i was wondering if there is a fast way to down tune your string. Like is there a tuner out there that shows the note that the string is tuned on.I ask this because when i play adams song by blink 182 i have to down tune the strings. But for one of the strings i need to tune it to a C but when i'm down tuning the string my tuner doesn't say when it's on C it will just skip the letter and will let me know when its tuned to a D thats why i have to try to get it in the middle where it does not show D or B it is just blank on the screen that's when i know that it's tuned to a C will a chromatic tuner be helpful when downtuning or is there something better out there?
