Is there a way to see what my boyfriend is doing?

I come into the room, he's on the computer, he clicks away. There is nothing on the screen and the history is deleted. Is there a way to figure out what he's doing...He always has some excuse why the computer is on the desktop background when I come in or walk by him...yet I hear the clicking...fast clicking.
